Bottle Preparation
Preparing Bottles Ahead of Time
The burning question for all new parents: how do you proficiently make bottles in the least amount of time… especially when two or more are crying at once?
- Make a large pitcher of formula and store it in the fridge.
- Make enough bottles full of formula for the entire day and store in fridge.
- Put exact measurements of dry powder formula in bottles and put in cabinets. All you have to do is add warm water at feeding time or put in bottle warmer.
- Make bottles each feeding by measuring out formula and water.
Again, every parent is different. You may have to try out a few methods and see what is best for you. From asking several moms, making a full pitcher for the day was voted the best with newborns!
Temperature of the Bottle
Depending on your babies, they will let you know whether they prefer room temperature formula or cold. If you are planning on warming the bottles you can either use warm water or use a bottle warmer.
